
John W. Elliott is a principal and founding partner of Elliott & Elliott. He was born in San Mateo, California on August 2, 1948. He is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Elliott received his B.A., magna cum laude, in 1970 from Claremont McKenna College. He continued his education at Harvard University on a Rockefeller Fellowship from 1970 to 1971. He received his Juris Doctor in 1974 from Stanford University and thereafter clerked for Justice John W. Kerrigan of the California Court of Appeal from 1974 to 1975.
Mr. Elliott is a member of the Santa Clara County and American Bar Associations as well as the State Bar of California. His practice areas include litigation, construction, products liability, insurance coverage and bad faith, commercial and environmental litigation.
